Commissioned unfinished by a frenchman from Brittany, her first voyage was a father and son trip around the Atlantic.

Bought in 1984 and finished by a carpenter, our VIA 36 enjoyed the colder waters of the english channel, north sea, Scotland and Irish sea.
Bought again, this time by a family with two teens for a cruising voyage, their sailing odyssey took them 4 years around the world until 1989.
Sold to a swiss on Geneva Lake who couldn't fully enjoy his new sailboat, due to health issues, he sold her in 1994, to a swiss couple.

After naming their new sailboat TEEPEE, they traveled the Med for 10 years before taking TEEPEE back to Geneva Lake where we found her.
In june 2008, on Geneva Lake we became the new owners of TEEPEE. We sailed the lake before going down the Rhone, then the Med, eastern coast of Spain, Gibraltar and the Canary Islands.
In the Spanish archipelago we did the final preparation to be ready for the Atlantic crossing in Jan 2010 from La Gomera, Canary islands to Le Marin, Martinique.
During three seasons we cruised the Caribbean between Grenada and Puerto Rico before reaching Bermuda, then New York, and up the Hudson River, Lake Champlain all the way to Canada and the Quebec's border.
The following year we sailed back south discovering the ICW (Intra Coastal Waterway) all the way to West Palm Beach, Florida.

A short crossing of the gulf stream and we spent the next two winters in the Bahamas where we fully enjoyed our shallow draft !
Après sa construction en 1981, il a été acheté, non aménagé, par un Breton pour un tour de l'Atlantique avec son fils.
En 1984, le second propriétaire engage un menuisier pour finir l'intérieur selon les plans d'origine puis, navigue dans la Manche, la mer du Nord, les mers d'Ecosse et d'Irlande.
Une famille et leurs deux enfants en font ensuite l'acquisition et partent pour un tour du monde jusqu'en 1989.
Le propriétaire suivant est suisse et le voilier se retrouve sur le Lac Léman. Des problèmes de santé empêcheront le nouvel acquéreur d'en profiter et il le vendra à son tour à un couple Suisse.
Ce couple du Bouveret, rebaptisa le voilier Teepee et voyagea pendant 10 ans en Méditerranée avant de le ramener sur le Léman.
En juin 2008 nous l'achetons sur le lac, devenu notre terrain de jeu pendant l été.
En septembre nous le faisons transporter à Valance sur le Rhône. Nous descendons le fleuve pour sortir à Sête, en Méditerranée, puis 1 mois au Cap D'Agde le temps de changer le gréement, batteries... C'est l'automne quand nous longeons la côte française, Ibiza, côte espagnole, Gibraltar, pour arriver aux Canaries.
En janvier 2010 traversée de l Atlantique de La Gomera (Canaries) au Marin (Martinique). Nous passons 3 saisons dans les Antilles entre Grenade et Puerto Rico.

Puis, nous profitons du golf stream pour aller découvrir les Bermudes. Traversée sur New York, remontée de la Hudson, le lac Champlain et arrivée au Quebec.
L'année suivante nous repartons vers le sud, suivant L'ICW jusqu'a West Palm Beach (FL).
S'en suivront deux hivers aux Bahamas, où nous avons pleinement apprécié le très faible tirant d eau !
